Can't believe this is 17%. The alcohol is really well hidden (but sneaks up on you quickly). Has the maltiness and hoppiness expected from DFH 120. I haven't yet had the pleasure of trying Utopias so I have no reference, but the barrel aging adds vanilla.

Happy Friday, folks. Getting lots of pineapple for what it’s worth.

Lots going on. Some nice flavors of stone fruit with some sweetness, along with some hoppiness to balance. Definitely a Belgium meets America beer.

Quite boozy, but expected. Lots of coffee aroma and flavor. Roasty and chocolaty. Rich but not syrupy, malty but not too sweet.

Very much like blueberries. More tart than most cantillon. Super dry.

Like fresh raspberries on steroids with a tart finish. One of the better lambics I've had

I realize I am risking a tongue lashing by giving it less than a 5. Let’s see.

Dry, restrained serving of raspberries/ blackberries, mild vinegar and slight bitterness. An exceptional Lambic.

Intense berry flavor. Surprisingly dry. Light tartness and just a hint of funkiness. Nice complexity, like a dry red wine.

3rd year Dental School is officially done! And they had a fitting celebration beer on tap at the Saucer. 🍻 extremely well done. Farmhouse funk on the front end with mouth coating lemon and apple pie notes that linger 🍋 🥧

I don’t think the 90 minute ever impressed me too much, but holy smokes. 18% and worth every bit. Hop heads, welcome to the dark side. Piney overload jumps off the cliff into the malty caramel depths

This may end my night before it begins but it is spectacular. Takes an already excellent stout and adds a smooth boozy base. If you're in a stouty mood, you should grab this when available.
