Damn, wat lekker zeg. Geur: zoet. Smaak: zoet, alcohol, hoppig, sterk. Eentje om langzaam te nuttigen. Dus dit meisje ligt voorlopig nog niet in bed.

🕐 2 drink up - part 179. Feeling a bit better today. Old bottle from the stash. Good choice to have a 12.5% ABV BW before going to the dentist 🤔. Sweet & the ABV is well hidden. Luckilly I didn't buy the XXXL Ed. (12 or 15 liter 😱) at M & F in CPH 2015

Nice one! Well balanced, light sweet boozy taste. A little bit of vanilla.

Een grandioos slaapmutsje op de zondagmiddag (15,5%). Maar onze Lo 1 jaar, dus daar mag op gedronken worden! Gerijpt op port vaten, en dat geeft een lekkere zoete en stroperige smaak. Goud!

Golden-red clear BW. Sweet boozy raisin nose. Smooth sweet malty take. Vinous body with a malty sweetness, subtle sweet boozy node, with a touch of raisin obvious yet underplayed. Very well balanced, hiding abv very well! Semi-deep and well made. Long end

Nose is baked goods, a slight sherry, and maybe some signs of oxidation. Flavor is a fusion of portwood, plum, caramel, and slight vanilla. It's fierce and quite the experience.

Ooohhhh!!!! Heerlijk! Zo mogen alle barley wines smaken! Port en bourbon zeer sterk aanwezig in de neus. Is misschien iets te zoet (maar dat vind ik eigenlijk juist lekker). Toppertje!
