Shit cognac barrel aged. Ik hoopte op bourbon🤷♂️. Desondanks zal ik lekker slapen straks in het vliegtuig😇

Blacker than Putins soul, gives not as much head as you'd like, but hey. Coffee notes that punsch your nose and a sort of sticky, oily burnt feel to the palette. Initial taste is Coffee and burnt chocolate. Aftertaste more of alcoholic almonds and oak.

I’d hoped to like this more, but I think it’s the cognac that’s making it weird (for me). It IS solid & does have the coffee flavours, but feels thin because of the barrel aging & too much dominance for the booze. It’s not bad, but I prefer the original.

A nice twist on Goliat, even if I'm no fan of Cognac. Just came back from the dentist 🦷. It turned out, after X-ray, that I have an inflammation in the root canal of one tooth. No wonder I have had pain 🦷🤕 for 2+ weeks.
