Red Wedding is an imperial stout, brewed with coffee and lactose then aged in red wine barrels for over a year. Smooth flavors of coffee, vanilla, oak and wine blend together is this sweet stout to make this 12,2% imperial stout something far more dangerous than you would ever believe.

Maximum Beer

The barrels that were used carried red wine. This should be fine, but in this case the red wine creates an imbalance that gives a sharp nose to the beer and gives an off finish to the mouth. Perhaps just french oak next time would showcase this nice stout
