Jernhatten B&B is an epic collaboration made by our friends at Superstition Meadery. We left a quarter of 30 month Danish Stauning Rye Whisky BA Barley Wine in four 190 Liter barrels after racking, and started filling 35 kg of strawberries per barrel, 10 kg of black currants per barrel, and even ran rhubarb through Ebeltoft’s press making 8 Liters of juice to add to each barrel. We topped up the barrels 50/50 with a delicious 2 year old blend of boiled and no heat traditional mead aged in stainless steel. One year later the results of this curated blend are amazing and ready for you to enjoy!
