Muuuch better then the non-barrelaged, nice moutfeel, real nice barrel, loads vanilla chocolate flavour, really takes the edge of the base stout.

Drank this right after BBA Dark Star to compare. This one is more old school American impy in the vain of Hoppin' Frog. Leather, tobacco, licorice, 90% chocolate, charry. Could use a bit more depth from sweetness / a fudgier profile. Nice tho👌. 4.15

Contender of best ever Danish brewed BA stout? I think so. Nose has real depth along with candied, woody bourbon notes. Then come the old school base with deep roast, dark chocolate, licorice and coffee. Time softens things up. No messy cake batter here !
