Belgian Strong Dark Ale

A belgian style beer from Kirke Hyllinge. We wish to brew a beer like beers from the old monasterys in Belgium. The taste is sweet, caramel and candy sugar. The colour is dark brown. We have made the candysugar ourself – and we use a lot of it. The yeast is the trappisttype. The beer has matured for a long time in the cellar. Beer of this type will improve if it’s matured for some months. Buy some few bottles more, and keep it in a dark place. Funky Monk is very good as the beer to cheeses and sweet desserts.
