This was a disappointment considering how much I loved the original George brewed at Nøgne-Ø. Not sure if it’s the barrelaging or the brewing that’s off. And I should add that I usually love most of what Lervig produce!

Taster cause the keg kicked, supposed to be the Absacker- I shall debate that one. Lots of vanilla, bourbon. Noice.

A sweet and rich scent like chocolate. The mouthfeel is gorgeous and rich sweetness like Sachertorte, and the ripe sweetness like raisins derived from bourbon swells in the back mouth.

Tja gewoon de volle 5 sterren, wat een geweld! Bourbon, vanille, koffie en iets chocolade. Plakkerig, dik, stroop en vol. Met deze sluiten we dan toch echt een geweldig bier jaar af. Deze staat zeker in de top 3 van dit jaar 🤤

Här har vi en riktig godbit. BA bourbon gör sitt o vanilj samt kaffe regerar denna. Jag hittar en smörig chokladton som är ytterst behaglig dessutom.

Trögflytande, fatig, vanilj, 70% choklad, moccakaffe, kärlek, värme.. Serverad lite för kall, får ge den en stund.
