A very mediocre lager, also it is 4.8% abv, not the 5.6% stated on untapped

2nd try at this as strangely tasted complete different to the 1st can. This was very malty and almost rye like. Tasted more like a Ruby ale than a lager.

Glad I didn't bin it. Not a typical lager. Malty caramel and a thick honey finish.

Forrige Iskold Classic (flaske) ble inntatt på en sushirestaurant i Aarhus i aug.20. Synes den smaker bedre fra fat, men ender opp med samme karakter.

Really sweet and malty, guessing a good load of medium crystal malt and maybe some carapils in the grist. Not massively hopped but some flavours at the end. It’s ok for a one off but couldn’t do a sesh on it.

Loving the can art, it has a really retro feel, went well with a curry, a little thin for my liking, lacked a bit of bite.

Posh ice cream wafers drizzled in caramel & dusted with crumbled hazelnuts on the nose; taste is rich, chewy, nutty malts, grassy/leafy hop bitterness & a handful of stewed sultanas; drying, bitter, herbal aftertaste; grass, spice & caramel treacle finish

Nice malty caramel flavours, slightly floral sweetness, gentle bitterness with a hint of coffee.
