#BDANDF #box2 can via @MikkellerBeer brewed by @BrewDog in Ellon, Scotland: love a Vienna lager! Sweet toasty malts w/ cereal & honey, crisp finish…

From the Brewdog and Friends Sub. Traditional European beers aren't normally my thing, and this is definitely a nod to those. But this is beautiful. A full, rich and malty taste with a nice clean finish.

A strong tasting lager with complex rustic flavours complimented by its very malty base.

A less tainted review - crisp and malty, but lacking something I can’t put my finger on

If Carlsberg did good lagers this is what they'd be like.

If this is a lager as I know it. Its great. There's a malty biscuity taste. Hint of bitterness in the middle. With a soft finish. I'll have crispy bacon rind

Tastes like a funkier Carlsberg and I do like a Carlsberg as longs it’s not in North Devon

Full of malts and distinctive Scandinavian larger the beer carlsberg wishes it was. Highly fruity in its way and greatly drinkable on any occasion

🏴🍺🐶 May Friends 📦 Not what I was expecting from the highly rated 🇩🇰🍺 Mikkeller. Decent enough but a little on the malty side for me, especially for a Vienna Lager

Nice biscuity bread notes on the nose. Palate has some of those notes but there's a really lovely rich malty honey sweetness at the fore. Super smooth drop this 👌

Really enjoyable. Nice caramel, malty notes with a bitter finish. Whatever a Vienna Lager is, I like it!

Best lager I’ve had in ages. Smooth, crisp & very flavoursome.

Reminds me of Budvar but loads smoother plus a tonne of biscuit & honey

A fine malty lager, the honeyed viscosity adds an extra sheen to this excellent example of its type.
