Deep dive into the cellar for this coffee laden stout. Nice overall experience but I like my stouts a bit thicker these days.

Check in catch up. Beer for breakfast or to be fair anyone is good. But breakfast is great. Coffee for days this one....

Coffee on the nose. Sweet maltiness, then rich dark chocolate that finishes with coffee.

This is very complex. Lots of flavours bouncing around, some subtle (kirsch, cacao, liquorice) and some more dominant (blackcurrant, cold coffee, burnt toast). Slightly odd, has a mild tang to it. Not unpleasant though.

I gotta say, no one here can tell me which beer geek stout I'm drinking. They think this might be the one. Anyway, it's a smooth full bodied stout with a coffee and chocolate profile..
