Stout - Imperial / Double Pastry

As its name indicates, this beer is not one for snacks or meals but instead goes down like a peach at dessert to which it is perfectly suited. Black as the night with few clouds in sight, this Imperial Stout gives off sweet scents of malt, chocolate, vanilla, roasted caramel and cake. Chocolate, roasted cocoa, vanilla and cake blend into a sweet and lasting flavour tinged with drops of bitterness and wrapped in creamy succulence. So good it counts as a dessert in a bottle!

Cellared for 4 years. DANG. Delicious, complex and strong. We had split into two glasses, but remixed it together and poured again because both glasses tasted different. Slightly bitter chocolate, roasted nutty oatmeal, boozy syrup notes. SO good.

Ratebeer 99/92. Решил забить на стиль пэйстри, но не тут то было. Осподя, как же это вкусно😇😍 И это не самый крутяк в микеллевской биргик серии. Темно-коричневое, с небольшой нестойкой пеной. Ароматика полный улет. Носом можно всосать стакан.

Это нечто божественное. Плотняцкий, тягучий десертный шоколадный кофе, в аромате отдающий даже выдержкой. Круто, что опосля появляется горечь, которая сглаживает предшествуюшую сладость. На уровне.

Shocked but pleasantly surprised at how well this aged. Oldest beer in my cellar. I remember buying this at the Bier Cellar in Portland ME. Cocoa is fairly bitter and there’s a slight sweetness from the vanilla. Very dark and thick. We’ll done
