Has absolutely not budged in 6 years. Just perfect. And the label with the Mountie before they were sued by the RMCP!

Malt Liquor made by a brewery that isn’t selling it to homeless guys that pay with exact coins for a bottle. And aged in Bourbon barrels! Does the label remind anyone else of the Soviets?

Stout aged in the rara avis of all barrels - Sam Adams Utopias barrels. Gives a hint of what Utopias must taste like (I don’t know).

Definition of dessert beer. Fresh raspberries in a glass. Hope they didn’t change one of the most beautiful labels ever made - the label on untapped is modernized, but mine was born on 1/5/23 and has the classic label.

Last time I had this was Aug 2020 at this same place. Truly a spectacular beer. Glad to see it is still in bottles after having it a couple of times in can (the artwork doesn’t look good printed on aluminum).

A bottle from 2017 (found in the 2.5 miles of stone cellar under my house). Still awesome and still “good for everything a flavored stout should be good for.”

From a 750mL. Has some age on it and still awesome. As advertised: good for everything a stout ought to be good for.

Utopias Barrel - Aged World Wide Stout (2021) Cole
Stout aged in the rarest barrels in the world. I have five because it was in the Beer Advocate Extreme Beer Box and Ty C. told me to buy a 4-pack when he was in Indy. Adds a hint of what Utopia must taste like (I don’t know) to a solid stout base.

Violated my own rule and ordered a Dogfish Head beer. This is OK. Tons of hops and tons of oats (even oat milk) for a smooth mouthfeel to balance the oats. If you want a lot of hops, do you want it damped down by oats? Answer to a question no one asked.

Despite being dry hopped and addition of lupus in powder, this doesn’t seem aggressively hopped. Could be the lighter body from use of wheat and outs.

Wow - imperial stout with cocoa and vanilla. “Dessert” is correct - tastes like a fabulous chocolate cake.

Best I could do for an IPA on their COVID-reduced beer list. One of the early ones. Had a keg of it at home in the late 90s.

Hallo Ich Bin Berliner Weisse Blood Orange Cole
There are a million flavor variants of this, but the brewery hasn’t added this one to Untappd. A very good beer, but knowing what a strong beer flavor blood orange is, surprising it is in the background here. And from a world-class Belgian brewery.
