well fuck, this beer really turned my head around about dark beers. its fucking delicious, so deep and rich with flavors. strong af, but has a thick body and a lot of flavors; porridge, bourbon, fudge, vanilla. its like the finnish easter dessert mämmi

Direct comparison with the rye bourbon barrel. Though one. Both are very good and the difference is very subtle. I really like this one though...

So creamy, so smooth. Nutty on the nose, lovely sweetness hits you at first taste, followed by a clear taste of barrel aging and whiskey.

Nutty, roasty. Roasted malty, nutty, dried fruits, milk chocolate. Heavy sweet medium bitter light fruity sour. Long roasty medium bittersweet. Full body oily sticky soft carbonation. Heavy tasty dessert beer.

Beautiful, starts of thick and sweet smelling, but not sickly. You get the chocolate then fudge taste afterwards. The bourbon kick seems to stop it been over sweet. Great brew

Sweet liquid confectonery. Christmas chocolate, fudge and vanilla, but with mildly bitter finish.

Mouthwatering goodness, very balanced sweet, rich dark roasted malty body, smooth round fudge creamyness. Maybe a bit too sweet and the bitternes at the midway cuts the sweetness towards the end.

4.5* Boom. This is every bit the big hitter you’d hope it would be. Sweet thick booze from the bourbon and vanilla is balanced out by the depth of bitterness from the coffee notes.

Backlog | 19/08/20 | 2nd try. Still no real scent of any bourbon in nose. Still pleasant though with mix of vanilla, caramel and the underlying roasted malt. More evident bourbon in taste. Has class even if the bourbon could be stronger.

De Beer Geek Fudgesicle, maar nu op bourbon gelagerd, deze meer uitgesproken dan de rye whiskey barrel. Topper!
