This is a really good Pilsner. It has that pea-like flavor I don’t like, but it manages that flavor really well.

A light fruit sweetness in a nicely hoppy lager. I really do prefer the IPA style hops over the Pilsner style hops. This is a really nice lager.

Trippelbock Frederiksdal Cherries Lindaaker
Mostly bock, the cherry takes second place. I can’t decide if I think the cherry flavour works or not. I like that it is bitter rather than sweet, but it is tart in a way that might not work with a bock, but it is so subtle that I can’t quite tell.

Spiced and bitter is what first hits me. Then it grows on me. It has a sweetness that balances the bitterness. The flavour is surprisingly complex and very interesting. I’m not really getting a carrot flavour - but the bitterness does fit with carrot.

It has the dry/tart blueberry quality, which also means that the blueberries contribute a sweetness rather than a sourness, which makes this a really nice and fresh beer.

It is bitter, but oh so delicious. The sweetness balances really nicely against the bitterness, and it is very flavorful.

Very much a lager flavour, almost towards a kölsch. Combined with the yuzu it has a very refreshing taste.

It doesn’t taste of much. Mostly alcohol, but also a bit of yuzu, but only a subtle amount of it, just enough to amplify the alcohol flavour.
