Unbelievably good beer.....it's sweet and dry....and sour with subtle tannins from the oak aging....Nice balanced bitterness with some almond and a heap of stewed cherries! Perfection!

A big boy beer. Deep woody Bock notes. Dark brown bread. Caraway seed. Mulch. Chocolate covered cherries. A very interesting balance of the full bodied Bock flavors juxtaposed with cherry tartness. Super fun. And a fully hot and heavy booze bomb too.

Fra i går. Frisk og fruktig nese, men i smak krasja det søte med de syrlige, og ble en slags rar og besk suppe. Ikke noe for meg.

Comes through more sour cherry than a bock/triplebock, at least to me.

Mikkeller 10th Anniversary Beer #9 ... and done with the beer event. Cherry and bock doesn't work well, IMHO.

Quite a heady brew that hides its booziness well enough. The tartness builds which isn’t great for me but I like the cherry notes.

More acidic and tart than I expected. Not sweet, rather like a tart juice. Doesn’t taste boozy, and the alcohol takes you by surprise. Surprisingly pleasant to sip over a period of time.
