There is something in the taste that I cannot place, but that I don’t enjoy. It’s not a bad stout, just not my type.

Really nice. Slightly nutty and chocolatey, very well-balanced, round and easy to drink.

Xmas Quad BA (2023) Zych

Pretty amazing. Really smooth and balanced. A bit sweet and definitely on the strong side, slightly boozy, and not at all Belgian. Very positive surprise.

Beach Micro Ipa Zych

Tastes mostly of pine. It’s not bad, but the taste ends abruptly and then it just leaves a watery aftertaste. It could just as well be alcohol-free.

Goofy Zych

Equally fine on can.

Xothir Zych

Tastes better at room temperature than fridge cold. I’m not sure I can taste any of the vanilla, cinnamon or orange, but it’s a nice mild stout.

Trippelbock Frederiksdal Cherries Zych

More acidic and tart than I expected. Not sweet, rather like a tart juice. Doesn’t taste boozy, and the alcohol takes you by surprise. Surprisingly pleasant to sip over a period of time.

Barrel Runner Zych

It’s not bad, but I don’t think I would drink it again. Tastes like a rum barrel aged pale ale. The taste is not particularly harmonic.

Rather light IPA, good for a warm summer day.

Drink'in The Sun (0.3%) Zych

Quite okay for a nonalcoholic beer. A bit sweeter than a wheat beer would be, but totally drinkable.

Coco Fresco Zych

Mild and a bit tropical in taste. Really pleasant.

Extra Natural Zych

Just another pilsner. Nothing special.

Wood Butcher Zych

Really nice and mild. Not watery, but not deep and overwhelming.

Joker & the Thief 2022 Zych

Nice and less sweet than I recall it was last time. Thick and dark, rich and a bit overwhelming.

Rather light and fresh. Good for a summer day.

Peel the Burn Zych

Good deep taste, rather sweet, with an interesting orange peel and cardamom taste. Very pleasant.

Mild and pleasant to drink.

Birramisu (2022) Zych

Less sweet than I recall it, and more barrel aged taste.

Suborbital Zych

It’s fine, but very watery. Bitter and dry, dominant taste of very roasted malt and dark coffee.

Canute the Great - Vanilla Brandy Barrel-Aged - 2023 Zych

A bit boozy, but deep dark and sweetish. Good.

Undulate V12 Zych

Nice dark coffee taste followed by sharp bitterness almost like wormwood.

White Wedding (2023) Zych

Tastes almost like port wine. Dark, thick and rich.

Slightly boozy, but sirupy and dark.

Hokus Kokos Zych

Like a kokostop in a dark beer. Very very coconutty. Not bad, but not for a whole pint.

Good. Not sure it’s what I expected, but this is not too sweet and not too boozy.

Clear and tasting of milky coffee.

Caribbean Rumstout Zych

Dark and sweetish with a taste of raw liquorice.

Big Doink Zych

Sweeter and rounder than I expected. Mildly bitter finish. Very hazy. Feels somewhat warm in taste. Easy to drink, but nothing special.

Kjøbenhavner Sour Zych

Tastes like Københavnerstang. Refreshing and both sweet and sour. Has to be enjoyed on a warm sunny day.

4 Giants IPA Zych

The bitterness is rather heavy and overwhelming. It’s not a beer to savour slowly.

Barrel Aged Good Morning, Vietnam Vintage 2020 Zych

Clear whisky taste, but not overwhelming. Not too sweet, malty aftertaste.

Chaos Equilibrium Zych

Tastes better than I remember it did last time. Deeper taste, more harmonious.

Not impressive. Very bitter and carbonated, almost like a soda. The taste is not very very well balanced.

Magnify Zych

The taste leaves no doubt about wheat being one of the grains here. It’s not really special otherwise. Rather bitter and with very low fruitiness. Okay, but nothing to write home about.

Beer Geek Porter Zych

It’s a good porter, but a bit disappointing. The taste is rather sharp and flat. The coffee only present as bitterness. It’s not bad, but I was expecting more.

Smell of rooibos tea, taste of tonka, espresso and vanilla. I cannot taste or smell the rose water. Not as sweet as I expected. Nice.

Black '2018' Zych

Smells like a stout aged in red wine barrels. First taste hits with wine notes, then dark malt and malty bitterness, then cane sugar sweetness unfolds and stays on the tongue. Superb.

Delivers what it promises. Nice, well-balanced, with a nice coffee taste.

I can taste milk and vanilla, but not coffee. Dark roasted malt gives bitterness to complete the sweetness from the lactose.

Smells like port wine. Has a very complex taste. It’s a tiny bit boozy, but in a good way. Not to drink a pint in one go, but nice to share and sip in the evening.

Underground Mountain Brown Zych

The whisky taste is far too strong for the brown ale. It’s not pleasant to drink.

Panther Cub (2021) Zych

First hit you with sweetness, then the bourbon taste arrives. I like it a lot. I would classify it as stout though.
