When they announced that they would no longer brew this in 2019, I searched out a couple of 6 packs. Now they've brought it back so I'm popping some tops. As expected, it didn't get a big head on the pour, but the taste is still there. Subtract .25.

Last bottle remaining. Great dark chocolate. Almost 5 years old. Still great I think it was best at around 3.5 years old.

Gebotteld 10-04-2019. 5jaar later is het nog een topbier. Koffie en chocolade in het begin gevolgd door een BA bourbon toets met het zorte van esdoorn siroop. Wat een topper dit.

Pulling out the big guns for a National Championship! A little boozier than any of the other aged variants I’ve had but still smooth. Has lost some of its syrup flavor which doesn’t hurt. Mild sweetness with hints of wood.
