Big boy bottle. Bumped up to 5 since this aged so well. All flavors blending well. Coffee maple chocolate with mellow boozy barrel finish. So smooth.

Drinks like a lightly boozy black IPA more than a barleywine. No sweet at all. Roasty malty hoppy. Simply delicious if you like that style. Drinks so smoothly for ABV. Dangerous.

Coffee with cream and lots of vanilla and sugar give this a caramel flavor. Light sweet and easy drinking.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020) B
Smell is chocolate fudge coffee. Taste is dark roast coffee cream then chocolate maple fudge and boozy bite. Thick and rich stout. Not as smooth as other Founders dark beers I’ve had but that seems to be the norm lately. Very tasty. Thanks Tony!

Said I would look for it next time and I found it. Hoppy piney malty with nice bitter finish. Less malty sweetness and more hoppy version of Redankulous. I miss that one. Delicious and easy drinking for ABV.

Coffee bourbon chocolate. A bit of a boozy bite but nice after these cold snowy days. Nice sipper after all that snow.

Curmudgeon’s Better Half (2018) B
Definitely worth the wait. Boozy bourbon has mellowed nicely. Scotch ale like caramel sweetness. ABV 12.7% and a slow sipper. Very enjoyable.

Oak-Aged Vanilla World Wide Stout (2017) B
Yesterday. Boozy but still pretty smooth. May have lost some vanilla but still has some. Really nice thinner chocolate stout. Quite a tasty sipper.

Yesterday. Strong coffee, dark chocolate, bourbon boozy finish. Thinner than KBS with more coffee. Delicious sipper. Will get every year and I just did. This is 2019 but just bought 2020. Aged well.

Coffee with cream and lots of vanilla and sugar give this a caramel flavor. Lighter sweeter more carbonated version of that famous NJ coffee cream ale. This one is very tasty and very good but that one is excellent.

Walked the dog in this brutal heat. Drank this ice cold, very refreshing. Lime salt sour sweet smooth. Thanks Tony!
