Dark fruit, raisin and nutty aroma and flavor. Light warming character and nicely balanced. Medium bodied and lightly sweet. 🇺🇸🇮🇱

Great. Estery, malty goodness. Complexity without hop flavours.

First time drinking this Belgium ale but it seems so familiar and nostalgic—like I should be eating mussels & frites on Capitol Hill in Denver or staring at a window dripping with condensation in a dimly lit bar on Capitol Hill in Seattle as I enjoy it…

I've sat on this bottle for a while. I definitely agree with plums flavor profile. Good beer

Did not like this as much on revisit, too far on the jam / marshmallow side and not enough on the dark

Rich caramel & dark fruits make for a nicely aged Belgian quad

Dark, chocolate, nutty, figgy, marshmallow, jammy. Wonderfully complex and smooth.

2017. Malty, a lot of caramel, fig, and some dark bread. A bit of raw alcohol still. As it warms, less alcohol and more nuttiness and toffee develop. Great with Alpine cheese and Gouda, good with cheddar, less good with brie.
