This beer was amazing fresh. It is now trash. Literally smells like spoiled milk. Flavor is not good with a metallic finish.

I didn’t realize this bottle was from 2013 until we went to crack it. Tart, but muted compared to other Spontans likely due to additional age. The oak pops on this one as well. Not sure what seabuckthorn is, but tasted mainly like lambic. #oldmoney

Had this beer years ago, the age is definitely apparent at this point. Nose has a sweetness and smell of over ripe fruit. Flavor is funky, wet paper, a bit of rot with a strong sour finish. This beer was definitely better a few years ago.
