I’ve been cellaring this a little over a year. I feel like it has stood up. The maple syrup flavor did dissipate a little as expected.

Delightful nose, you can smell the bourbon, but it is not a prevent taste in it. A smooth chocolate greets your first sip. Full, rich consistency, a perfect brew for a winter's backgammon game against the brother who supplied the drink.

Een boter zachte stout, vloeibare chocolade. Zacht, zoet en smaakvol.

Maple is muted after 2 years. Brings a nice sweetness, but not overly so. Bourbon is present, but not overwhelming. Nicely balanced.

CBS in 12oz btls. Who knew. I sold a 750 of this on eBay for $175 many moons ago.

First drink was chocolate and barrel. Second lead with maple and finished with coffee. Very good.

Good except for the metallic taste around the rim. That's what I get for old-style (college) drinking without a proper pint glass.
