Lukt av knusktørr kaffe lagret på et mørkt loft i Lofoten i tjue år. Minst. Smaken innfrir forventningene. Søt hit, tørrere avslutning der bitterhet fra kaffe gjør seg gjeldende. Nam nam nam Etter nærmere inspeksjon er dette 2018 eller 2017 batch

The one time I had CBS was in their Detroit taproom. It was relatively fresh and I didn’t care for it. Found it to be really cloying. This one’s not like that. Not sure if it’s the 3 years of cellaring, the barrel, or the vintage, but this is really good.

USMNT trying to retain the Nations League! Amazed that this CBS still has some coffee and maple syrup to it... Sad it might be the last CBS I ever sip 🪦☠️

Very sweet . Lots of chocolate , coffee and maple syrup on the nose and palate . Bourbon on the finish. Smooth mouthfeel, with just a tinge of carbonation . 11.3% alc/vol is well hidden . Warming sensation when drinking . This is a delicious beer

Grabbing one from the cellar. Had this one before but definitely worth the repeat. Chocolate for sure and that maple syrup sweetness. The booziness has toned down for sure. So freakin good.
