Cellar aged for a little over a year.

Tasting quite well. Heavy chocolate and barrel notes. The maple is still have hanging in there.

Smooth, sweet, potent. It’s exactly what you’d expect! Sweet coffee notes come out as it warms.

Few beers get a 5. This gets a 5. This is perfect. Smooth, perfectly balanced, to die for.

Damn. This is good. Think. Syrupy. Lots of chocolate notes. To be honest, can't really taste the maple syrup. But, can smell it from the bottle mouth , not the drink itself. Bottled on 8th October 2028. Bought recently. Another in the fridge ... :)

Bottled 10.04.19 1440 6. Fruity and boozy on the nose, but the same cocoa on the palate. Aftertaste of baking chocolate.

Founders Brewing makes great stouts, and this is no exception. You can taste the chocolate and coffee right away. Bourbon aftertaste, which I like. Drinks well for a strong beer.
