Almost 2 years old and it’s starting to taste like a thicker, sweeter KBS. Lost most of its maple. Didn’t age as well as I’d hoped. Better enjoyed fresh.

This is a hard to find beer. Way to go Ann for finding this beer in Michigan. It’s better than KBS. Maple syrup, chocolate, and coffee flavors aged in Bourbon barrels- atta boy!

Turn up the music coz there's a party in my mouth. Intensely dark and sweet with the maple syrup to the fore in the aftertaste. Alcohol not that strong but some smooth coffee and vanilla flavours balanced with a rioja-like nose. Great beer.

Drama around Founders aside, this IS my favorite stout. Unreal, even if it's not as special and rare any longer.
