Felt like a CBS kinda night for no particular reason. A rare perfect 5 for me. This was my second to last bottle of this 2019 vintage.

It's been sitting in that beer fridge long enough. Aged decently, but a little less maple.

Well balanced but deeply flavored dark beer. Barrel flavors, chocolate, maple syrup all beyond into a powerful but not overly so flavor that lasts to the end

A different CBS, more coffee and sweetness from maple syrup than chocolate, although chocolate could be mellowing rather than strong

Not sure about the year as I had it on tap. Aroma of bourbon, toasted coffee and dark choco. Same taste but less biubon more maple. Quite sweet and boozy. Oil-thick.

Not nearly enough maple. Chocolate tastes like cocoa powder used in baking instead of velvety chocolate that melts in your mouth. Also the is absolutely no Bourbon flavor here. It's a Stout yes, but a terrible CBS for me. One caveat is that it's cold.

Very tasty, Bourbon is very upfront on the nose. Will open another in a year.

Based on March rating, a little more age did this good. Also goes really well with peach cobbler.

2019 Celler Drop. Time did this one well. Mellowed out nicely!

Melass. Örtig och rätt kryddig eftersmak. Mörk choklad, en del alkohol. Riktigt bra.

Keeping it in the cellar doesn’t make it better, but it makes it more balanced. Still excellent, still smooth.
