Thick syrupy and overly sweet. Very present agave, salt adds some balance, could use more grapefruit

The idea is good but for being a beer is too much grapefruit and sugar for my taste. The aromas though, are very interesting, we can clearly feel the tannins given by the barrel aging. Pleasant sourness in the ending.

Soir but with a back splash of dr Buckley medical fought syrup...not my back ABV well present. Sorry not my style... thanks Dan for the opportunity to taste.... And that's what I did....only tasting!!!

Sour, my brain doesn’t know what to think of this beer. It’s strong, taste kinda like sour jelly. There is a subtle tequila flavor. I’m not sold on this one, maybe the lime will be better.

My last bottle of this (not logged) was overaged. Very very sweet with no hints of grapefruit. This one has aged better but is still very sweet. Bottled 3/2022 for reference

2021 vintage. Grapefruit, tequila, wood, sherry, caramel and a touch of salt. Barely tart. Extremely sweet, had to water it down with sparkling water to drink it.

Malty, salty, sweet. Mild tequila and boozy heat against a bitter and tart lime flavor stage. I get a touch of grapefruit behind the lime but not much. I prefer the base brew.

Bit of a dud. Whatever flavour the grapefruit brings is minimal and just obscures the nice margarita qualities of the original. Disappointing.
