What a weird, but good, beer! Creaminess, sweetness, and weight from the lactose, but ale-based, with a slightly hoppy backend. Good sipper

Seems slightly overrated to me, but still quite a nice coffee ale. I get the feeling that maybe previous batches were a bit better?

coffee? yes, but subtly so. The vanilla was the hi-light, accentuating a very smooth, cream ale flavor.

So many yummy scents and flavours. Vanilla, cream soda, caramel, chocolate and some roastiness. Delightful.

Smell is great. Thick. Like two pieces of toast. Don’t have more than one per night. Second one feels like too much of a good thing. Otherwise VERY well made beer.

Smell of strong coffee a roasted caramel with a creamy vanilla and hints of hazelnut. A blond stout.
