Marvelroast

Golden Ale

Take in the wonder that is the marvelous – ahem – “marvelroast” new addition to our coffee beer lineup. We started with an imperial golden ale and brewed it with coffee, vanilla and cocoa nibs. But it doesn’t end there, folks. Milk sugar added during the brewing process lends a smooth and sweet finish, making this a delicious treat reminiscent of your favorite iced coffee drink.

A little sweet, only a one per night beer. Still like it a lot. Bean flicker + nicer character + abv.

Pretty tasty and light. Iced coffee flavors are forefront but it still tastes like a beer. This is a good thing and a bad thing, because I don't love sugary beer. Because of this it gets docked a little.

Sweet and vanilla without the heavy mouthfeel. Coffee is a bit light. Nice tasty brew even for hot days.

Very nice. Reminds me of the blonde coffee that goose did a couple years ago. With more booze.

Smells and tastes kind of like cocoa pebbles cereal. Very enjoyable. Creamy coffee all the way.

One of the best coffee beers I’ve had. Too sweet for more than one at a sitting. And at 8% ABV, that is ok!

I really like this. What's not to dis? Just too sweet. For the July heat. A beer you should not miss. I think this review qualifies as a limerick...Dan?

It's marvelous. Really enjoy the flavor. Can smell the vanilla, chocolate, and coffee. Same with the taste. I really like it.

If you didn’t think a golden ale could be an imperial, think again. 8% ABV in what has to be the sweetest coffee vanilla beer ever created. Almost sickening sweet, which is something I’ve never said before. Basically a super sweet vanilla torte.
