Blushing Monk had a love affair with tequila. I personally wish there was more tequila flavor.

BM is a great base beer so I'm expecting a noticeable improvement, which I didn't find. Curious what kind of tequila it was. The acidity didn't work together for me and it had an acrid finish. Would love to see a gin (or...aquavit?) barrel version.

Tart, enjoyable. The tequila barrel adds one more layer that’s pretty good - it’s definitely present.
