Long Monday, but on the positive side the home version of this is better. I think the tequila barrel shines better in the bottle

Hints of the tequila barrel hit on the backend. Not as sweet as the Blushing Monk from last year. Drinks too smooth for an 11% beer.

No words. Reminds me a little bit of cherry cough syrup which is NOT a bad thing. Tart raspberry on the nose. Little bite of tequila as it leaves the tongue. Happy Tequila Day!

I will never be able to do raspberry (one of my favorite fruits) in beer. I can smell the tequila, but can’t taste it.
