Sweet pear, berries and melon meld together for a delightful taste. Semi dry tart finsh. 9.7% abv is an added bonus.

Smell is sweet, grape juice like; maybe some tart cherry. Taste follows. Very sweet. Smooth. No bitterness at all; just a dab of sourness at the end. High ABV (9.7%). A little too sweet IMO --o.w. it would have gotten a higher score.

Havent bought anything Founder's in years. Graciously gifted by The Compound ;) This beer is fantastic

Unknown berry aroma. Very unique flavor profile; haven’t had prickly pear for a while though. Sweet as expected, with a tiny amount of pucker. Salty is there. Tequila afterburn is present. Actually rather mellow compared to the others in the series.

A lot going on here. Tequila barrel aged, I like the prickly pear, though i think a little too much sea salt. 1 of 4 pick from my Founders stop.

I’ve been looking forward to this for a while, & it fulfills expectations. The original Mas Agave was a brilliant margarita beer, & here’s the prickly pear version. The berry-like p. pear mixes well with tequila barrel aging. Just wish for more salt.

And home, my work on the PCT is done...over 100 miles clocked...not what I'd hoped but a milestone nonetheless. Nice, sweet brew to finish off the day.
