Rich, a bit malty and sweet, but not overdone. Has a biscuity finish to it.

Marzen style as it has marzen flavor and is sweetened with honey. Honey masks expected maltiness. More accurate label would say marzen style.

Bold, but not out-there. This Reinheitsgebot-adherent brew has big, malty flavor that presents as sweet, but for a lager. Yeast character accents the center-stage malt. A traditional style done pretty alright by an American brewery.

This is actually better than i anticipated. Founders def isn’t known for beers like this, but really knocked the flavors out of the park. This is what I’d expect from an Oktoberfest beer, and more!
