A big heavy. Closer to a stout than a brown ale. Not bad but I would seek this out.

More chocolatey than coffee, not too boozy from the barrel but definitely there. Easy drinking for an imperial

This beer was POWER! Extreme ABV, vert robust taste of dark cherry and malt, reminds be of Troegs Mad Elf. Eerily similar. This is the beer you bring ice fishing, and chopping wood. It’s high octane!

Very similar to KBS to be honest, maybe a little less rich and sweet and the KBS… Overall quite good and very satisfying.

Tastes like a bourbon barrel beer. No coffee taste at all. But if you like a BBB then this is the brew for you. Old Backwards Bastard with a good try it flavor. Not my style of flavor but the abv is great!

Yummy caramel and coffee plus some nuts. Some nice vanilla, light barrel, some interesting earthy and green notes. Smooth and almost thick. Very nicely warming.
