Underground Mountain Brown

Brown Ale - Imperial / Double

Underground Mountain Brown is the harmonious drinking experience only achieved when our imperial brown ale, earthy sumatra coffee and a year aging in caves below Grand Rapids comes together. A team of malts complement the bold sumatra coffee perfectly, while time spent immersed in oak creates layers of depth and complexity. A celebration of the barrel, the bean and everything in between.

Big beer for a brown ale. 11.9% Wow! Great taste and you really get the boozy sweetness upfront and the oaky finish at the end.

Not saying it’s bad, but this tastes like second running of KBS with coffee added.

Now that is smooth for a (almost) 12%. How is it only Wednesday? Also, how the hell is it already Wednesday? Yeah... that kind of week. ⏳🍺

First time for this one, and a real good un. Bourbon aroma and taste stand out but not overpowering. Same with coffee.

Other than it being slightly thinner having a hard time distinguishing this from CBS (minus the slight maple) or KBS. Didn’t they have a different name for this? Its excellent and Sumatra coffee may be the best type to put in a beer!
