A big heavy. Closer to a stout than a brown ale. Not bad but I would seek this out.

Taste like chocolate bitter coffee. Actually taste better than I described it.

Outstanding! Great taste! Not “boozy” considering it’s 11.9% ABV.

Well, for a BA brew, not much barrell here. Coffee? Not really. Just a heavy brown ale. Decent one, quite good actually but you expect more from THE Founders

This is a must try beer. Great balance between the coffee and barrel aging - not to “bourbony”

Nightcap after a long week. From a growler filled 10/22. Rich, earthy coffee, dark bittersweet chocolate, hint of booziness. Soo good and soo dangerous.

Nice to finally pull out a founders beer that hadn't turned to brown water.

#400 Really strong coffee flavor. Might be good for breakfast.

Pours a dark chocolate brown with a sweet aroma to start finishing with a boozy oaky barrel aged aroma. The flavor is quite boozy with hints of caramel, dark roasted coffee, and smokey oak.

Absolutely amazing. Definitely boozy, definitely smooth, definitely unbitter.

Tasty on a cool afternoon sitting outside.

Mieleenpainuva, kompleksi kokonaisuus. Alkuun bourbon-tynnyröinti on aika hyökkäävä, alkoholikin maistuu hieman läpi. Lämmetessä maku kehittyy ja kukoistaa. Lopuksi suuhun jää vahva tumman kahvin aromi.

Slight bourbon taste. Great barrel aged ale. Prefer this over the stouts
