A team of malts complement the bold sumatra coffee perfectly, while time spent immersed in oak creates layers of depth and complexity. Wonderful brown ale that deserves the hype. It's a mud slide full of flavor. I get roasted coffee upfront as expected and a little sweetness from the bourbon. The oak mellows things out nicely and this winds up being dangerously drinkable.
