Incredibly chocolatey with the barrel finish hitting the back of the palate.

Very good. Smooth, strong. A slight bitter finish from the coffee, almost like dark chocolate. Would be hard to have several of these.

I wish not every Stout, porter and brown able was barrel aged.

The ABV makes up for the lack of taste unless you just enjoy cocoa/coffee backends with a forward malty taste.

2020 vintage. So much coffee! Also, a little too boozy for it's own good.

Not my favorite of their barrel series, but still pretty darn good. Warm goin down. Nice winter beer. I'd like to see the caves these are aged in.

Pours a dark chocolate brown with a sweet aroma to start finishing with a boozy oaky barrel aged aroma. The flavor is quite boozy with hints of caramel, dark roasted coffee, and smokey oak.

Very chocolaty, dark and malty. A lot closer to a stout than a brown ale.
