Delicious...smooth, dark, malty, deep coffee aroma and flavor. Nic - "liquid candy". Thin white head. Very enjoyable! Bitterness is subtle for an imperial.

The holy grail of brown ales. Chocolate in the nose, smooth, balanced body, complex and rich coffee bourbon aftertaste. So smooth, with no harshness. If anyone sees this, please don’t buy it. I want MORE.

Wow full bodied brown tons of roasty coffee with bourbon vanilla notes, fairly sweet but very drinkable, slight lingering mild bitterness

The nose was nutty, sweet. Like a snickers bar kinda. The body brought in a coffee note, but sweet with a little bite. The tail is there to remind you that yes, this is an imperial! All around great experience.

As a coffee beer it has to be my favorite, Founders really puts together well crafted beers. That ABV ...phew!!

Deze was nog over van de Beery christmas van vorig jaar... en wat voor een! Donker, met een rijke koffie En chocoladesmaak. Zwaar, maar zeker niet te heftig. Ik houd ervan!

Kinda like a cocoa forward English barley wine with tons of coffee and some vanilla, coconut, bourbon and oak. Great American style Frankenstein strong ale. Nabbed a single from HEB for under 3 bucks lol
