Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2019)

Stout - Imperial / Double Coffee

What we’ve got here is an imperial stout brewed with a massive amount of coffee and chocolates, then cave-aged in oak bourbon barrels for an entire year to make sure wonderful bourbon undertones come through in the finish. Makes your taste buds squeal with delight.

Rich and sweet chocolate flavours. Barrel aged gives it a nice intensity. Really good

Bourbon barrels and chocolate are a magical combination, I'm sure even more so after aging in a bottle for about two and a half years. My goodness..

So very good. Chocolaty but not that sweet. At its prime.

Full bodied pitch black. Upfront bitter chocolate and coffee followed by the bourbon highlighted by the warming on the swallow. Smooth rich
