Totally unappealing as a description, but it's lighter than it looks or sounds in the same way Guinness is. I'll try again if I encounter it on a warmer summer day

Not what I would’ve expected out of a black IPA. Slightly bitter, not a lot of flavor. Not very hoppy either. Big miss for Founders.

Dark and roasty, I’m not getting much of a hop presence, but it’s a nice drinking beer.

Nicely different, Black Session IPA. Mildly malty and hoppy. Very easy going, almost effortless.

The mouth feel is a little thin but after all, it is a session black IPA. Nice roasty flavor, though. #CraftBeer
