Not what I would’ve expected out of a black IPA. Slightly bitter, not a lot of flavor. Not very hoppy either. Big miss for Founders.

Utopias Barrel-Aged World Wide Stout (2020) Matauch

Aged very well. Heavy body, boozy warmth. Fig flavor of Utopias with cherry, coffee and dark chocolate. Perfect for a cold, snowy Michigan day!

5 years old and still hanging there! String coffee with light chocolate and maple. It seems to have lost a bit of barrel but still has the warm finish.
