Another older beer I had sitting around in my fridge that I found when cleaning everything out after Beryl.

See previous reviews of various vintages. Aaaand this is why I try not to let anything get over 2 years old anymore because after cellaring/refrigerating, it's mellowed, it's still drinkable, it's certainly a bitter/hoppy/boozy/malty brew but it's nowhere

Very nice! Big, floral aged hops & only slightly lesser orange bitters lead, w/ generous resin, spicy rye grain, caramel, fig, & jammy marmalade mid-palate, & green grape, understated smoke, lightly burnt brown sugar, & splash of Sherry @fin. 4.375.

Just over 4 years in. It’s like a barleywine. Cheers Colby S.

Pretty good, not amazing, room temp, little chilled would’ve been better

120 min once a white whale. The imperial India pale ale…now a classic and standard impossible to match. 4 years aged is a really nice baseline, Just my style

Bottled 7/10/2020. Have a few more I’ll sit on a little longer.

Been sitting on this for quite a while and decided I needed to break it out tonight! It’s still really good! It’s smooth and boozy and still has a nice resiny hop flavor! Still one of my favorite beers! 😁🍻

This glass is as old as Sams first book, Brewing Up a Business

Exhumed this baby after an extra long sleep. It sips almost like an imperial IPA/barleywine cuvée — the sticky hop cones are front and center, but the liquid has developed a heady, treacle consistency. Potent stuff 🔥

Smooth and mellow. Aged perhaps a bit too long, but still delicious.

Have had previous years that were really good. Not sure if it’s an off year or it got oxidized. Not terrible but not great.

Still a great beer... even if I miss the good ol' days of the 18% stuff.

Been aging this one for 4 years. It did age very well indeed.

Aged super well. It’s like dried figs, caramel, English toffee, and butterscotch. Sad it’s my last 2020!

Thanks Will B. , looks like I held out longer than Zac K.

Let’s be honest: this is still a really boozy quadruple IPA. We’ve finally come full circle.

How else does one celebrate 120 Day? This has matured nicely with the hops still shine. There is a subtle undercurrent of currants and raisins, with a maltiness that just underscores the quality. Bright and warming.
