A barleywine on the more bitter side along the lines of Bigfoot. Barrel works well with this but isn’t overly boozy. This is a nice sipper that is a meal in a glass. Another fine beer in my hands thanks to Zach the Kitten

Strong malty aromas with slight chocolate notes and hop bitterness. Heavy body. Smooth mouthfeel. Pleasant malt flavors with a slight chocolate character. More hop bitterness than expected. Not boozy. Smooth. Lingering malty flavors in finish.

Roasted malty barley wine with a sweet bourbon barrel flavor. Very bitter from the strong roast and barley.

Probably the sweetest barleywine I’ve had thus far. Very interesting nevertheless
