For a dark session IPA it is more akin to a porter in taste and aroma. The faint note of hops still exists and has a light body. Still pretty good.

Drinks like an IPA till it sits in the glass and warms a bit. Shows some roasted qualities.

Looks like a stout, smells like an IPA. Very malty with coffee stout like notes. Finishes like a session IPA with mild citrus and pine. Wouldn’t turn down a free one, but wouldn’t choose it if I’m paying.

An opaque session IPA full of roasted maltiness and piney hops. At 4.7% ABV, this is hopped up dunkel for the fall.
