Starts great but has a lingering bitter aftertaste. Maybe it is the vanilla. Disappointed.

Best IPA in America? I think Esquire magazine needs to get out more. This is everything an old school IPA used to be. I didn’t like old school IPA’s. Super hoppy. Even the “malt forward” ness can’t cover up the hop burn.

4 Giants IPA Ballard

Aggressively bitter is right. Don’t enjoy this one.

Panther Cub (2021) Ballard

I feel the burn of the first drink that Randy S. mentioned. I let him t warm a bit and it mellowed out. Subtle maple and vanilla taste. Pretty good beer in my opinion.

Campfire Amplifier Ballard

Smells a little like chocolate milk. I get the chocolate and vanilla taste and a bit of cinnamon bite. Pretty tasty beer. Better as it warms a bit.

Big Luscious (2020) Ballard

Nice and thick. Like drinking chocolate covered raspberries. I don’t get the coffee taste that it mentions. Good beer. Thanks Jason!

Backwoods Bastard Ballard

Dark. Heavy. Smooth and boozy. I like it!

Marvelroast Ballard

Smells like chocolate and marshmallows. Tastes like a roasted marshmallow. Never expected this taste in such a light beer. Pleasantly surprised.

Just as tasty as the lime version. No real grapefruit flavor for me though. Easy drinker!
