Sad that this has declined so rapidly - some acrid, oxidized notes and the toffee sweetness has receded. Hoping this was bottle variation as I still have a handful of these in the cellar.

Aged fairly well (drank in 2022). Light ale with a slightly boozy taste. Not sure on the spices, but there is a hint of unbalanced fruit in there.

madeira and tiramisu on the palate, huge dried fruit notes everywhere like all aged stouts/heavies. s/o covenhoven for opening this keg!

Bottled 9/7/2018. Very well aged. Very complex, rich, sweet, caramel flavor, slight bourbon flavor

The sweet spot. Mellowed beer but still carbonated. Pretty outstanding and boozy and scotch flavor.

LÀtt söt arom av karamell och mörk choklad, lite maltighet finns dÀr ocksÄ. Maltig smak med lite mörk frukt och karamell. Inte sÄ vÀrst tung eller fyllig. Anar en hint av bourbonfat mot slutet.

3/20/18 bastard. Obvious floating sediment/yeast/etc. So crazy smooth at this point. Delicious, but missing the bite of a new bottle. One of my favs.
