I believe aging a KBS is best done no more than 3 years. This is the most balanced and most tasting like a KBS of the verticals tonight.

From the hoard. Fading but still good. Buttery and toffee now, coffee barely in the finish.

It is a Founders Nite😝... too many coffee notes when it is cold. Must warm it IMO.

The coffee has really come alive! Coffee forward with a dark chocolate finish. I consider this optimally aged.

Starting a string of Kentucky Breakfast Stouts over the next few nights beginning with the classic. Still one of the best bourbon barrel stouts.

Blød og rund. Men samtidigt smages det tydeligt på alkoholen at den er fadlagret. Der mangler lidt nuancer og fylde for at komme højere op.

I don’t drink beers like this as I used to, but when I do I remember why I liked them. So much flavor here- and that decadence is unforgettable. I appreciate that this one lacks the heavy sweetness of others bbq stouts.
