Found some CBS!!! On to our third Colorado Low in three weeks.

Belgian Twist

I love the Belgian notes in this beer. The banana, clove, spice, bready notes pair well with the blue agave nectar once you get used to it. Glad I waited for the second bottle to rate it. The first try the agave throws off the taste a bit.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2022)

Chocolate, bourbon, coffee, malt. It's a tad harsh compared to the 2021 but it has more chocolate notes than there 2019.

Kentucky Bourbon Stout (KBS) (2021)

This one mellowed out nicely for just a year. Not as harsh as the 2019. More chocolate and malt flavors with a hint of coffee. The bourbon compliments the other flavors but isn't as harsh.

KBS Hazelnut (2022)

It's liquid Nutella but more hazelnut than chocolate. But it still has the same malty, chocolate.

Sweet, smooth, cherry, the bourbon is very smooth. Not as boozy as some.other beers, but delicious.

It was dam chilly out for today's dam inspection. -50°F today. A boozy, malty beer is a great way to warm up.

Orange, booze, sugar, malt. Cocktail/Manhattan forward then malty beer finish. Weird combo.
