Apporto barricato eccellente, sciroppo d'acero e vaniglia a dare continuità. Ciliegia identificabile maggiormente nel nocciolo. In bocca si avverte concezione fruttata in primis, con ciliegia identificabile in varie forme (crostata, marmellata).

Frootwood, one of my two favorite beers from Founders. And yet, Founders appears to have forgotten both. This batch of Frootwood (still awesome) was made in 2021.

It's still decent..not as much flavoring as if it was fresh. Still worth buying finding at the brewery.

didn’t know it’s classified fruit beer. the cough syrup forward flavour hit first, slowly revealing the oak-iness undertones & immense cherry sweetness. glad tasted little of the supposed tartness, decent brew nevertheless, but not exactly my cup of tea.

Belgisch stukje vakwerk van Founders. De krieken komen mooi door en het eikerige van het vat zit mooi in de smaak. 😍🍻

Fruity cherry bourbon maple sweet not as good as the one I had a couple weeks ago from 2020 but still love it 😍 delicious 😋 upnorth sippin love it 👍🏼

Wat een heerlijk biertje. De smaken kers en siroop voor de zoetigheid en dan de bourbon eroverheen voor een bite. En heel mooi in balans. Topper

#CatchingUp SBS w/ the mothership version, this is much younger but WAY worse. Thin, watery, and very flat flavor profile versus the OG which still felt fresh. This tastes like an 8 year old beer that was stored in a linen closet. Dumped half the pour.

This did not stand up well in the side-by-side with the Mothership version. A bit waterier and not all there. Photo right.

Side by side taste test against Highball Drifter. Both rate a 5 by me, but Frootwood wins the side by side tasting battle. Complex and balanced with less boozy overtones gives Frootwood the win.

Cherry and mild bourbon barrel notes, mildly sour with a hint of syrup that cuts a fraction of a point.
